Audio Euphoria Q and A Self Improvement | 26 comments If you have questions or suggestions about Audio Euphoria, please post them here. 26 Comments Willie Lugo on March 2, 2010 at 4:18 pm Hello, I read many of Bill Harris writing on meditation. He talks about the brain and the brain’s waves. In his writing he explains that the reason he has many levels is because the brain needs to adjust to the new brain waves, which it did not before the meditation. He compares a new runner and how this runner has to slowly starts his regimen and adds more time to his routine slowly so the muscle gets used to it. Overdoing the amount of time or mileage could hurt the runner’s muscle and Bill says we can have side effects by overdoing the level of meditation, because the brain is not used to it. My question will be how much of this is possible and how much damage could this cause. I am listing to Bill Harris meditation cd, but like you say they are very expensive. If I can find something that is less expensive and save I am willing to try it. Truly yours Willie Lugo Hi Willie, First, it’s important to stress that the brain itself cannot be damaged by sound waves. What can occur, especially using the Centerpointe philosophy, is that the brain can be introduced to too much stress. The result is generally unnecessary anxiety. The Centerpointe philosophy, as I understand it, is to continue increasing the stress on the brain in order to cause it to acclimate to increased stress; in other words you become accustomed to the stress and that becomes what feels normal to you. Under normal circumstances this isn’t a problem and I’m not trying to make it sound as bad as it may – it’s like lifting weights; if you continue to add more weight while training then your muscles adjust, even though your body will be continually sore and in a state of healing (growth is really healing). The need for levels is present with *all* brainwave entrainment programs because, like lifting weights, your brain will adapt and over time the effectiveness of the program will seem to decrease (effectiveness doesn’t decrease, but instead you’ve achieved the growth you can achieve with that level and your brain is ready for an increased challenge). Our technology is based on the exact technology as Centerpointe’s and we believe that we’ve even innovated enhancements, such as our Triple Harmonic Chord ™ technology they don’t offer. I hope you’ll give us a try – I think you’ll be very pleased with the product and the results. All the best to you – John Reply bob dymond on March 2, 2010 at 4:40 pm Yeah, Why can’t I register?!! I’ve been a Deep Zen user for almost a year, and I can never get past the WordPress watchdog. Tried every conceivable variation on my user ID, email add. and password, but nothing works. The program is great–I really like it. But the support system leaves much to be desired. Could I get a little help here? Thanks, RLD Hi Bob, That’s because the link to our program users and this website is new and you have not been registered as a Deep Zen user. We are having to do that manually for now and it will be automatic in a few days. I have now manually registered now as a user of Deep Zen and an email has been sent to you with your username and temporary password. Randolph Reply Holothink on March 2, 2010 at 4:54 pm Hi Bob – If you can leave a post then you must be registered. I understand there is some confusion here and we’re working to make things more user-friendly. All the best to you – John Reply Dave Scheffler on March 2, 2010 at 4:45 pm I am happy to receive notification that you are still working toward Euphoria (whatever that may be!) I have been using Deep Zen for awhile and am quite happy with it I have bailed on Mr. Harris and his non-stop marketing ploys masquerading as helpful hints Thanks for keeping me in the loop and I look forward to the reality of Euphoria! Reply Kevin on March 2, 2010 at 4:53 pm The brain (and body?) go through the full range of Alpha, Beta, Theta and Delta within a period of 24 hours. Thus the idea that our brains are not used to these levels smacks of a con whereby someone can sell you more levels. In my mind you need 3 levels. Alpha which is used for general change work via such process as hypnosis. I think meditation in Theta and Delta are great and of most benefit. The challenge is to get in these states without falling asleep. No various levels of Theta and Delta required just at there least frequencies i guess as we go there every night. all the best Kevin Hi Kevin – We’d have to disagree with you on numerous levels. Sure, you can get into an Alpha state by watching television. You can go into – and do – a Theta state while showering or driving a familiar, tedious road. Caffeine can give you an artificial boost into beta, but you won’t be able to focus or concentrate. And of course when we sleep we go through various levels of delta and theta, if we’re lucky enough to be able to sleep without disruption. Problem is, millions of people aren’t able to get healthy sleep for the duration they need. But can you access those state *on demand*? If so, you’re in a truly small and elite crowd. What happens when someone watches too much television? The mind tends to entrain to Alpha as it’s natural state, which produces a result similar to being under the influence of drugs. Then, of course, we can give a child drugs because they can’t pay attention in order to get them out of that Alpha state. Boy, that’s not a con, is it? “Let’s stupefy this child with television and then advertise to them the drugs that will help counteract the stupor so they can continue to stupefy themselves.” Yes, we go through a full range of brain wave states in a day – but that doesn’t mean they are in healthy proportion or that we are able to access the state that would currently help us the most with what we are seeking to accomplish. Also, although you and I lift a variety of things throughout our day that does not mean that we are ready to bench press 300lbs. Is strength training a sham? Are selling of weights and gym memberships pulling a con job on us all? Ridiculous. I think most people would agree that they have more brainpower than they’re using. I think most people would agree that no single organ is more important to our quality of life than the brain. And yet, how many of us are actively exercising it to reach its potential? Not many. We sedate our selves with media, food and drugs and passively hope for something better. Well, not us. All the best to you – John Reply Cole Patterson on March 2, 2010 at 5:44 pm Hi — Is it possible to have a theta wave CD that lasts only about 30 minutes? I think the Deep Zen ones are around 45 minutes. Thank you. CP Hi Cole, If you don’t have a full 45 minutes to use the Deep Zen programs, just stop the program at 30 minutes. It is advisable to use listen to at least 25 minutes of the program for it to have any significant effect. The more of the program you have time for, the better. Randolph Reply Marcel on March 2, 2010 at 6:08 pm This is kind of a set back for me since I am creating a self improvement audio myself under the same name. This audio makes use of quite different methods, but I’m thinking of adding some binearial beats to reach full potential, unfortunately this ‘art’ is relatively new to me. Of course it is easy to work around a name, but I am intrigued why you would call a brainwave entrainment audio: ‘Euphoria’. Could you please enlighten this for me? Perhaps if your audio lives up to it’s name we can be of some use to each other in the near future. All the best to you. Marcel Great question Marcel, and sorry we grabbed this great name first. You must have a great mind. 😉 Instead of providing a passive listening experience – or pushing a bunch of esoteric psycho-babble your way, we hope to actually help you reach a level of euphoria in your life. To me, to achieve euphoria means stepping into your full potential as a human. Instead of leaving that as a “you fill in the blank of what the immense potential might be” let’s define it as living the majority of your life in a state of courageousness, acceptance and peace. Why are courageness, acceptance and peace important? They are really the end goal of every self help program (or religious teaching) I have ever encountered. They are the essential elements of living a high quality, happy life. Our goal is to help you get there – To get beyond fear and limiting beliefs by first putting your mind in an optimal state and then giving you tools to dissolve those limitations; imagine feeling free, and actually being free, to take action on your biggest dreams. To feel at ease with whatever life brings your way; to be able to truly accept it. The alternative is to resist “what is” which only causes misery and suffering. And finally to feel peace and contentment regardless of outcomes. In that highest state of being you are in control, regardless of external happenings. If you could live at these levels, at least part of the time, do you think you’d feel euphoria in your life? I do – and I have. That’s what we hope to achieve and bring to you. All the best to you – John Reply Jack on March 2, 2010 at 7:08 pm Well, still don’t know what is going to happen and when. Any time frame for next infomercial? Reply Maria on March 3, 2010 at 1:29 am The most important concern is safety. And BTW, like Bob, I too am unable to access the site as my user id and password doesn’t work. You don’t need to be registered to post a comment here! Reply Marcel on March 3, 2010 at 2:01 am Well thanks, same to you! Euphoria or euphoros (greek) literally means healthy. Personally I think your defintion of the word is quite good, we have sort of the same ideas about this. But your product outcome comes closer to enlightenment. Let me elaborate: The reason I chose this name is because it has great marketing value as I believe you already know. Euphoria is often compared to love, happiness: the greater states of our minds that our brains themselves create to prevent extinction. (Love or euphoria for the more intelligent beings amongst us is probably quite good for your Google rankings and there’s no shame in that ) 🙂 ..Unlike pushing a bunch of esoteric psycho-babble your way.. I’m sorry but do you really know all there is to know about esoteric psycho-babble? Because there is an actual proven method to succeed in achieving actual Euphoria using a form of this psycho-babble you just demeaned. A method to get your neuro transmitters to produce the better emotionprovokers; dopamine, serotonine or noradrenaline with just a snap of your fingers. So that’s euphoria > Your neuro transmitters that create a drug to blind your common sense with the objective to reproduce or feel very happy > and that’s healthy 🙂 Of course we do not let us be swept away that easily anymore and the drugs I described have all very different effects. Euphoria is just one of many effects. But it is theee effect when people are Taking certain drugs. I’m creating a real HEALTHY alternative (psycho-babble) to achieve LOVE so strong it will make the emotion of happiness felt right after the birth of your first born TEN times stronger. So far this alternative combined with self-improvement works like a charm on my test subjects. But who cares what the word really means and if you can imitate it’s purpose, the name gives the consumer a good feeling and that’s just good marketing. I highly doubt that there are really brainwaves that stimulate a Real self induced state of Euphoria, but if you can, I stand corrected and I’m very interested in your product. If not I am still interested in your product because brain entrainment is a whole other ball game but just as fun to watch. More interestingly, both games can be combined and create even better results as I suspect. Perhaps I will learn the art myself. I even have a more appropiate name now I think. So I thank you for your insights on the subject. Also thanks for your pitch, I kinda liked it and you have a way with words > you would make a good politician! All the best and good luck! Yours truly, Marcel Reply Lynn Lampert on March 3, 2010 at 2:50 am I have been using refresh/relax and totally tranquil for ever. I have been wondering what the next level of mediation is.I do know that holosync has levels and wondered how your program works. Please advise. Lynn Lampert Reply Karmoh on March 3, 2010 at 6:17 am Ok, love the idea, but have been down this road before. What is the point of difference, Quote “This new concept is extremely exciting to us and I know it will be to you too. We can’t say right now what the new level is, but I think you’re going to love what we envision here.” Umm! sounds like a marketing ploy to me! When? What? And How Much? Peace 🙂 Hello Karmoh, All I can say is you haven’t been down *this* road before. On the one hand, saying what that “next level” is gives you a better idea of what we’re going to offer – and on the other hand it gives anyone who wants to steal our idea a better idea of what we’re going to offer. Mainly, we’re just warning you that something *we* are excited about is coming – and it just *might* be exciting to you too. All the best to you – John PS – At a certain level of enlightenment one realizes that EVERYTHING is marketing. And by my definition of marketing – marketing is a set of processes for creating, communicating and delivering value – that’s not such a bad thing. It’s only when two people fail to agree on the value agreement – ie, I’ll trade you this for that and that seems fair to us both – that marketing becomes a “dirty thing”. Reply John alex lindsay on March 3, 2010 at 8:09 am I don’t know why or how I got your email. a. I suspect you have bought a list from Holosync of those that enquired but did not order. b. having essentially introduced yourself as a potential seller of a similar product, albeit selling in a nebulous fashion, you failed, as would have been sensible and practical, to “tell” me, as a possible customer what to do next. c. Do you have a product to sell yet? d. what are the details? e. if you are a business and want to be commercially successful, you need to ramp up your marketing and sales strategies. This is my profession and I know the field well. When you have more detaisl, and assuming you actually want to SELL it, contact me again. Reply Holothink on March 3, 2010 at 8:16 pm LOL All this from a guy using a hotmail account to brand himself?! John Alex Lindsay – we’ve never bought or rented a list from anyone and certainly would never consider paying for email addresses that use a hotmail account. The only way on our list is to sign-up for a demo and then to click on a confirmation email link (double opt-in) to confirm, from within your email account, that you want to be on that list. So I guess that it’s possible someone has hacked into your hotmail account to conspire against us both, but it’s not likely. And is it possible that you don’t know what our marketing strategy is? I’d say yes. 😉 I’d say not only is it possible, it’s highly likely you didn’t learn this in “Principles of Marketing”. All the best to you – John Reply Kevin on March 3, 2010 at 9:05 pm Ha John Nice one. I am not saying that there is no need for anything like this. Infact i agree that these meditations are needed to increase functional use of the brain. I use some myself and find them great. I just dont agree with so many levels. I just dont see the need to go into various Theta states, just go for the lowest/highest frequency or whatever it is. Same with Delta. I guess im saying they are great states to be able to go into but it does not need to be so expensive with so many different levels. That i really do not see the point of and think Holosync created a nice little earner using that method. All the best Kevin ———- Actually Kevin, I just realized something here. We’re not offering a membership site that offers endless levels of the same thing and I’m not sure where that idea came from. In other words, we’re not trying to take you through 12 levels of meditation for a cool $15,000! Instead, we’re seeking to do something more innovative and creative (and hopefully valuable/effective). It would be really easy for us to emulate Centerpointe’s approach where “If you buy the next level THEN you’ll really be a happy, healthy person . . . but wait, there’s more! We have a new level for you that will REALLY do what we promised six levels ago.” More details are coming – but this is nothing at all like what Centerpointe is all about. 🙂 Not sure where that idea came from but more than one person has it, so it must be something we said. All the best to you – John Reply Jim on March 4, 2010 at 5:50 pm I have to agree that Centerpoint is relentless and annoying with their marketing to get you to buy the ‘next level.’ But I have to say that Holosync has been the only one of this type of thing I saw noticeable results with. I’ve been trying another this winter (TMM) and seems to have been a waste of time and money. Though I won’t buy into the overpriced Centerpoint ‘levels’, I have to say listening to the Dive and Immersion was beneficial when others were not. Go figure … Reply m.bhasker rao on March 7, 2010 at 5:56 am I’m using a simplilar product to yrs & would definitely wish to try out yr product after i complete the present 2 levels. meanwhile could u clarify what should be the minimum audio equipment required to be effective in altering the brain waves. regards mbrao Reply Edward Randolph on April 6, 2010 at 6:36 pm The best headphones you can afford; just so they are comfortable and have good frequency response.
